Stunning old european - transitional cut diamond, in original low profile platinum setting with discreet 3 claw six prong crown gallery, the diamond appears to just be floating over the setting, the small rose cut accents on the sides are the perfect compliment to the impressive center. The ring has a low profile and rises only 5.2mm off the finger.

Diamond measures 7.5mm x 4.4mm and was weighed outside of the setting 1.56CT. The diamond has a slight tint and it is mostly white facing depending on the light, I estimate this stone to be K-L in color. There is a small feather under the table which is perpendicular to it and as you can see barely visible in my macro photos, not visible to the eye. There is also a  very small natural that is parallel to the girdle and appears just as a slightly wider portion of girldle, no chips or other flaws, I estimate this stone to be SI1.
