The hooks that designer Yamada has made and uses himself—hence the name 'Yamada Hook.
The hook is the tool closest to the fish. To ensure safe delivery, all processes from cutting the steel material to the final coating are carried out in Japan.
The threaded parts related to durability use individual epoxy-coated threads instead of tubes that can be torn with a releaser. PE line is used for the threads to enhance durability.
#4/0 size that can be equipped on BnD180F, BnD163F, FZR188F, and even on RESPECT190F!
SUPER SHORT #4/0
- Size: Equivalent to triple hook #4/0
- Weight: Approximately 5.5g
- Strength: Drag 20kg MAX
BnD180F and FZR188F are designed based on this SUPER SHORT #4/0, allowing for maximum performance with a simple attachment. Additionally, using oval split rings for the connectors further enhances hook-up efficiency.
Since the distance between the front and rear hooks on the BnD163F is short, using round split rings up to size #8 works best.
This single hook can also be used on the RESPECT190F. During the design phase, we secretly tested the single hook version, which improves slow rise performance and expands its usability.
