We love these little Victorian rings—and they are increasingly difficult to find!
Made of 14 karat yellow gold in (most likely) the 1800s, this ring has a central channel of four sugarloaf cut turquoise accented at the top and bottom by two pair of differently sized pearls. The top of the ring is oriented diagonally and the band is an elegant split shank style with four separate, narrow parts. The four parts of the shank meet at a single notch and the band is marked by a elegantly simple carved pattern.
This ring is accompanied by what we assume, but cannot guarantee, is its original box, bearing the name of E.L. Thayer & Bro., a jewelry store formerly in Rockford, Illinois.
